Unlike some other local inspectors -
I am a very thorough inspector, usually taking 2 and 1/2 or more
hours per house and over an hour back in the office writing the report.
I have been inspecting houses in Greensboro since 1981
I will not sell you a test that you probably don't need
I do not do quick, on site reports nor a check-list report
I do not have hidden charges for my reports
I can rarely have time to do more than two inspections per day
I promise you that, if I do not find more repairs than the cost
of the inspection, then your inspection with me is free.
I give you a disk of one of my advertised books (YOUR HOUSE - 330
pages - a $25 value) which will give you advice and guidance in the
future.
I give you an idea of repair costs as practical
I welcome you to be there and ask questions. Come around the house
with me (even into the crawl space using my spare coveralls!)
I do not seek business from realtors and indeed am a member of IHINA
- www.ihina.com a national organization of inspectors who do not solicit
business from realtors and realty companies.
I ONLY get business from referrals from previous clients or from
one or two realtors whom I know want a thorough report.
I
also offer radon, water, radon-in-water, mold and lead-in-paint
testing and at reduced prices - if done as part of the inspection.
All in all, I believe that I provide a workmanlike, easy to
read report at a reasonable price which will give you a very comprehensive
analysis of your new house purchase.
